Going 48 in 48....

I had the pleasure of meeting with Phil Nagle today for a photo shoot..Who is this Phil Nagle?? Phil is just your average every day college student getting set to take nearly an 8,000 mile ride around the United States. Why on earth would he do this? All in the name of Leukemia. He is set to take off on Monday, July 20th. If you would like to read more about his story, get updates on his progress and donate toward the cause, go to http://www.go48in48.com/ Good luck Phil!

Van Lear Bridals....

For those of you who may be freaking out over the latest Sharnett Bridal scandal, may I point you in the direction of the awesome Lora and Lucy Van Lear of Van Lear Bridals. http://www.vanlearbridals.com Having a dress custom designed is more affordable than you would think. They can cover any dress need, whether it be for the bride, or the mother of the bride. Check them out!

We're back

and back into the swing of things!
When I went looking for a nice/somewhat inexpensive getaway for the kids and I, I certainly hadn't thought of Maryland. But when Sadie, http://www.willowtree1830.com/, sent me info on her cabin and her parent's Bed and Breakfast, I was sold! The boys and I stayed at Water's Run Bed and Breakfast, owned and run by Don and Beth Gaster. It was so peaceful and beautiful, surrounded by beautiful State Parks and nearby to Deep Creek Lake, there is always something to do! We went hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, fishing, mountain biking, even paintball, lol, you name it, we did it! Enjoy a few pictures from our trip :D PS...I even saw a bear on one of my morning walks! LOL

Gone Fishin...

I will be out of town starting tomorrow 7-1-09 until 7-5-09...I can be reached by my usual phone number and will be able to answer emails from my blackberry. I will be doing some catching up on editing, but most likely will not have easily accessible internet to upload pictures to the proofing site, so those that are still waiting for your albums to go up, please bare with me, I will do what I can to get them up as soon as humanly possible :D

As for more photo blogging, stay tuned for Becky and Dirk's wedding as well as George and Amanda's wedding. I will be sharing those when I return :)

Have a Happy and Safe 4th of July!

Mike and Carey!! :D

This wedding was close to home, right down the street and around the corner from the studio to be exact. Lots of familiar faces at this shindig! The weather was perfect, not too hot, not too cold, blue skies all the way. Carey had to be one of the most relaxed brides I have ever worked with. Beautiful couple, and a really great group of people to hang out with all day. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your big day!

Kim and Jon :)

When they told me they were borrowing and old Army Jeep, I was SOLD! lol. After all, I need something new to use as a prop since the pink bus was towed away :( sniff sniff....
I have been dying to have a bride in a vintage veil, and Kim was PERFECT! And both bride and groom wore Chucks, my kinda peeps ;)

George and Caitlyn!

I dont know what it is, but I love the name George, and I have had 2 George grooms this year ( and one last year too, cant forget Amy's George :D)
It was a hot day, way different than our snow-covered engagement session, but definitely beautiful! Congrats guys!

Rob and Sherry!

I am soooooooo behind on my blogging...especially weddings, please forgive me :/

Rob and Sherry's wedding was so much fun, especially the reception....how many couples can boast of a Ski Patrol entrance AND a special visit from Mr Redlegs himself?? Too cool! :D

The only good thing about a rainy day...

is puddle jumping with a 3 yr old :)

Miss Remy first captured my heart 3 years ago. I have really enjoyed watching her grow, such a personality and a beautiful girl. Usually we go to Cox Arboretum, but today they were on my turf ;) Oh and today she was full of hugs for me <3 gush gush gush :)
For your viewing enjoyment, I have included a few images from her other sessions, Enjoy :)

It is with great pleasure

that I introduce to you, little Julia :) Her birth was not without a little drama, but gratefully, all is well. Her mommy is one of my oldest and dearest friends ( and avid blog stalker, lol) LOVE YOU KATY!! so I was soooo happy to be able to do her first modeling session. I don't think I am being biased when I say she is an absolutely beautiful baby. Can't wait to watch her grow!
