Confession....

I have this little addiction..ok BIG addiction, to this thing called Zumba. It's basically aerobics based on Latin dance and a TON of fun. Anyway, I went through this long depression because I couldn't do Zumba for awhile, but now my favorite instructors have opened up their own studio here in Vandalia. The day I first passed the new studio, I was on the phone with John, and I swear to you, I almost wrecked my car in excitement,LOL. They have a ton of other instructors there also, and this place is HOPPIN! If you have a desire to try, or learn, check them out for sure. The website is http://www.zumbaohio.com If you are one of my readers from afar, never fear there is probably Zumba near you as well. Just check out http://www.zumba.com
Now, these pretty ladies are Zumba instructors at the new studio. In addition to teaching Zumba (and being totally fabulous) they have started a new class at the studio called Exotic Moves. If you are wanting to er...eh...um...get in touch with the inner sexiness that is you, then you need to try this class. I have watched the class...I am not in touch with my inner sexiness at this moment,LOL. BUT I will say the class looks like a lot of fun, and these girls are great. Tabra has a class on Mondays from 7:30-8:30pm, Angie's class is Wednesday from 8:30-9:30pm and Nicole's class is Thursdays from 8:30-9:30pm. Check 'em out!

Adios.

Perks...

There are definite perks to my part time job as a Kodak Rep. One of them is that usually when new stuff comes out, they send it to us to demo to customers and sales associates in the stores. This little beast of a camera, the v803, I received on Friday last week. It actually comes in 8 different colors ( I was bummed they couldn't send me the pink one,LOL) I have to say I have been quite impressed with its abilities. I don't know why I am surprised, of course it's great, it's Kodak, Booyah! ;) The second shot was taken with the v803 on Saturday night. John and I drove down to Newport to have dinner and see a flick. We had a great time. It was nice to get away after having such a crappy week. Til next time!

A girl and her camera...

I had to share Bridget's joy in her new camera, as she has finally joined the SLR world and crossed over to the darkside muahahahaha. She's doing a great job with it, and before long I will make her my assistant....muahahahaha. She has no idea what she has done to herself,LOL.

We made our way through downtown Tipp City this afternoon, stopping in a few of the antique stores. I am on a hunt for just the right old Kodak camera to display in my livingroom(havent quie found it yet). I am a Vandalia native(been here 25 of my 31 years, YIKES) and I have to say that as much as I like my hometown, it lacks a little bit of the warmth and personality that Tipp has. I love to take pics there and this afternoon caught a different view of some of my favorite places to stick people when I am photographing there.

Well, I can actually say that I have actually been to Chicago now, yay. This past weekend I flew there for a Kodak seminar...once I actually made it there...loooong story.....but while I was there, a fellow rep and I ventured out of the airport hotel, caught the train and ate some dinner at a very nice little restaurant. I've flown through Chicago many times, but this was the first time I'd been out of the airport or one of the hotels. Next time I would actually like to spend some time seeing more of the city,LOL. Til next time!
