Cait and Jeff...

got married at one of the coolest places which is saying a lot around here because there are not many "cool places". The castle is one of two in West Liberty known as Piatt Castles. The one we were at is Mac-O-Chee Castle. What a fun wedding to shoot, even though it rained a little. Thankfully the rain stopped for the actual ceremony, and really it never rained that hard, but it had me worried for awhile there. Everyone there was so nice and it really made my job fun and not like work at all :) I've never shot a themed wedding before and it was a real treat being a part of a scottish wedding. I'm so glad they picked me! hehe. The man came up to help me toward the end. I think he is really starting to like assisting me, muahahaha. The last wedding we did together we found this cute little Mexican restaurant where we ate dinner. We were in the same vicinity so we ate dinner there again.

Starting tomorrow afternoon I am teaching a photography camp for 3-5 graders. I am so excited. I've never done anything like it before, so I'm really looking forward to working with the kids (hopefully I have more than one :D) . The boys are coming with me, so it will be nice for the three of us to do it together. Tata for now!

Can't wait...

But I will have to. I cant believe I have to wait almost a whole year to shoot their wedding,LOL. Thanks for hiking around with me though :D I had fun!

Every so often...

You meet up with a family that is just too easy to photograph. That is the case with Rose's family. The are all 4 beautiful, inside and out and it just made my job way too much fun. Miss "C" you know I envy your hair. Love love love it!!

What a blessing...

to have been able to document part of these 3 little lives for the last year. I have been lucky enough to photograph the whole family now for the last almost 2 years or so and really if I think about it, they have been with me since I have been on my own, from the very beginning of my journey...so in a way, these three little people have grown and I have been growing right along side them :) I can't believe they are a year old already *sigh* ...and they get cuter every time I see them too :D

3 little cuties....

ran me ragged last Sunday...but well worth it! It was so weird though. Their appointment was for 5 and from 3pm on, it was torrential downpour. Im sitting in my car thinking "this isnt gonna happen today" when at exactly 5 o clock, the rain stopped and the sun came out, and stayed out long enough to photograph these little cuties and then just as we were finishing up, it started pouring again, lol! Made it just in time for the hamburger stand. I am LOVIN the hamburger stand in Miamisburg. LOVE IT :D

Non-people pictures for a change...

the boys and I went to the Cincy Zoo on Memorial Day and had a blast. It had been almost 10 years since I had been there, and Jake had never been. We usually go to the one in Columbus but I thought I would change it up a bit. I think my favorite animal of the day was the polar bear.

We went to the Strawberry Festival in Troy today, I will post some snapshots of those later. We went with Ashley and her 2 kids. It was hot a miserable, but we still had a good time. This will be the last weekend I wont have something work related to do probably for awhile, so I wanted to enjoy it while I can. Well, off to do more computer work :)
