Happy New Year!

I am looking forward to a new year. 2006 has had it's ups and downs. God has big plans for this coming year, I can feel it. So hang on tight!

The girls are coming over tonight to celebrate the New Year with me. It's become a tradition for the 3 of us, Anne Marie, Nicole and I. A night of chips, dip and games. This is what excitement becomes when you are old, and have no babysitter for the night,LOL. One year ago today I had the opportunity to document my dear friend Katy's wedding, so happy one year anniversary to Katy and Ian!

Jenny Lin and I busted out some wedding pics yesterday. Long day, but well worth the effort I think. She let me play with the fish-eye lens, HELLO, I want one now. I will have to show you some of those creations another time. In the meantime, here are some views of yesterday, a new marriage for a new year!

Some winter fun...

Nothing like ice skating in 50 degree weather :D Anyone from Dayton probably knows how much fun it is to skate the 'scape, and if they haven't yet, they need to. We have frequented Hobart many times also, but nothing beats skating in the er um cold? winter air? Ok, so it was warm for skating today, but *I* happen to prefer a little bit of warmth. I am not meant for penguin weather. Oh ok, Im a wimp, so what :P Honestly though, we had a fantastic time and skated until sunset.

The boys made out this Christmas. Jake's favorite present was his Gameboy of course, and Adam's was his MP3 player. He hasn't gone a night yet without headphones in his ears. As for me, my mom gave me the coolest stereo, plays records OF COURSE,LOL,(and CDS and tapes) and it looks like an antique jukebox. Anyone who knows me well enough knows that I have a wish to one day own a REAL jukebox, the kind that plays 45s. I still have a stack of mine just waiting for the day. Yeah, I know I'm a geek. My sis gave me a $40 GC to Target, which I spent frivolously. I went back and forth about what to get, should it be practical, not practical. I must have been having a bipolar moment because I totally went for non-practical. My lovely man bought me a DVD/CD burner for my computer cause my CD burner went PBBLLTTTT...

The demo season is nearing a close, which means I can get back into the swing of things with photoshoots. Tomorrow, I am assising Jenny Lin in a wedding again. Should be loads of fun.

Well I must close. All this holiday hoopla has given me gray hairs, literally. Today I found my first one. Cry with me.....waaaaaaahhhhhhhhh

I know I know.......

No, I haven't fallen off the face of the planet. I am still here, barely, but here. Are the holidays over yet?? Ugh,LOL. I promise, as soon as the holidays are over I will have some new pics to show you. I CAN share something I've been working on for Christmas gifts. A couple of little birdies told me I should offer them as options for packages and I think I'm gonna do it. These are tote bags, I can do a few different sizes and a couple of different colors, specifically white or black. The pictures are printed onto fabric and adhered to the tote bag.I can add initials or embellishments, etc. I've done just a few simple designs so far, one of them I can't share yet because I don't want that person to see it just yet, hehehe. Still working on a pricing plan, but so far I have had nothing but positive comments on my own bag that I made for myself.

It looks like I will possibly be traveling to Naples Florida in February to shoot my good friend Cathy's wedding. I am so excited!
